Rathfarnham 5K, Berlin Marathon and Weekend Round Up

John Travers (14.21) ran out a convincing winner of the Rathfarnham 5km road race last Sunday. Travers was always at the front and built up a lead of around 80 metres on his nearest rival Brandon Hargreaves (14.37) of Dundrum South Dublin.

The Donore Harriers man also led the team to victory. With Eric Keogh (15.05) and John Dunne (15.25) placing 7th and 11th a final team score of 17 ensured victory ahead of host club Rathfarnham AC (37) with Waterford AC (68) in 3rdplace.
