Leinster Senior XC and Results Round Up

Congratulations to both Donore teams who traveled to Athlone for the first Indoor  League

The men’s team scored 46 points and are in 3rd place after round one while the  women’s team scored 47 and are in second place. We had some great individual performances with John Travers winning the the 8oom for the men and Ailbhe Healy winning pole vault for the women’s team.

The next day in Kilmacow, Kilkenny, our senior ladies won the Leinster Senior Cross Country Championship.  This was a first time senior medal for 4th placed Karla Doran, closely followed by Sorcha Nic Dhomhnaill in 5th and her twin Ide in 6th, Aisling Swaine came 11th and also got her first senior medal.  The team won the Championship easily with Liffey Valley in 2nd place.
